MENOPAUSE WORKSHOP

30th September 10.30 - 12.00

Understand the changes. Know your options. Stay strong

Are you navigating perimenopause or menopause and want to understand more about what’s happening to your body — and what you can do to support your health and wellbeing?

Join us for a small, friendly, in-person workshop with two experienced professionals who will share evidence-based information, practical advice and the opportunity to ask your questions.

DR CHARLOTTE BURTON – GP & MENOPAUSE SPECIALIST

Dr Charlotte Burton qualified as a GP in 2013 and works across both private and NHS general practice.

She has a particular interest in women’s health and menopause care and has run a dedicated private menopause clinic for approximately seven years, supporting women through perimenopause, menopause and beyond.

Charlotte has completed the British Menopause Society (BMS) Management of the Menopause Certificate, reflecting her commitment to evidence-based, individualised menopause care.

Charlotte will talk about:

๐ŸŒธ What is perimenopause and menopause?
๐ŸŒธ What happens to the body?
๐ŸŒธ HRT and other treatment options
๐ŸŒธ Lifestyle modifications
๐ŸŒธ Exercise, muscle and bone health
๐ŸŒธ Pelvic health

LIZELLE GERBER – PHYSIOTHERAPIST, PILATES & STRENGTH INSTRUCTOR

Lizelle completed her B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physiotherapy in South Africa and has worked in both NHS and private practice.

Following her own experience of the benefits of Pilates, Lizelle trained with Body Control and gained certification through the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI) in 2005. She has continued to develop her expertise in movement, fascia release and muscle energy techniques.

Lizelle teaches Pilates and Reformer Pilates, runs strength training classes for osteoporosis and osteopenia, and is ONERO trained.

She will explore the importance of exercise and strength during menopause, including how movement can support muscle, bone and overall physical health.
